Reference Books & Commentaries

As I consider books to keep in my library, I am excluding reference books & commentaries. I consider commentaries to be a great tool for the amateur theologian. Reference books are usable and needed for digging in and deep study.  Here I will list the reference books & commentaries in my collection.

Whole Bible Commentaries:

1. Matthew Henry’s Commentary on the Whole Bible, six volumes, by the Fleming H. Revell Company

Book Commentaries:

1. Galatians For You, Timothy Keller. Published in 2013 by the Good Book Company.

Reference Books:

1. American Dictionary of the English Language, Noah Webster.  Published in 1828 and republished here in this state by the Foundation for American Christian Education.
